I have set up this blog to record my time on the Allotment and encourage me to make the effort.
Week one.
This was a week of clearing weeds and rubbish. With a few enthusiastic helpers ( 2 sisters and Mum supervising from the sidelines. lol) it started to look good. 
Only being able to spend a few hours at a time on the plot I think we made good progress . By the end of the first week we'd found 2 paths and a good sized bed ( 3m x 3m) to make a start on. We Planted potatoes out of my veg basket( been there a long time and started to sprout. ) and some onions that were given to me by another alotment owner to start me off.
